Completed 6 months post surgery. The hairfall I noticed post fin withdrawl has been arrested. Have continued the medicine again, though there are no more side-effects anymore. I guess it was somewhere in my mind that the medicine gives you side effects and it played an important role in my decision to discontinue fin. Hairfall is still there but it is like 20-30 hair and getting less.

 

Regarding growth, I have never been happier in my life w.r.t. my hair. The hairline is strong and the hair seems like growing thicker and thicker. My hair is very fine in thickness but still the front coverage is good. Also, I feel the hair I lost has started coming again. I can feel small hair coming out of scalp when I touch it. There is some bald spot which is not covered yet, but that is behind my hairline. I guess I will go under another procedure next year to cover the remaining spots and will address my temples as well.

 

But for now, I am pretty happy with my growth. I see my old pictures and then I go in front of the mirror, it is a huge boost to my confidence. There are things that I would have liked more but again, we have to be realistic in our expectations. And on those expectations, the results are supreme I feel.

Here are some pics that I just clicked. Sorry for low resolution as I have decreased the size of the pic to upload in here. Dont know why but not able to upload better resolution pics.

 

As you can see in the last pic, there is a bald spot still remaining behind my hairline. I had hair planted in this region also, but do not understand any reason why this spot is left yet.

Also, the pics do not justify the look because you see gaps as the camera is too close. And fortunately, I have some height where is it not possible for everyone to have a top view of my scalp, i feel the bald spot is hidden for now. But I would like to have this area grow as well. This is the area where I feel the hair coming out of scalp but it has been same since last 4-5 weeks. Let's see how it goes from here.
