Regular Member templeloss Posted May 19, 2015 Regular Member Share Posted May 19, 2015 I want to have FUE performed this summer to restore my hairline and thicken the front portion of hair. Price is a very big concern for me, so I want to go to Turkey. Yes, the plane ticket will be $1500 from Philadelphia to Turkey, but at $2 euros per graph (Doganay) and 2.5 euros per graph (Erdogan), I will be saving three times the amount on a doctor of the same caliber in her in the US. Doganay is obviously cheaper and he recommended roughly ~1500 graphs. everything is included...hotel, food, transportation. Erdogan is a little more expensive and he does not offer accommodations. I am thinking about going with Doganay; however, his hairlines seem weak. He offers dense packing at 60 cm/2 which is better than Erdogan's 55, but all the before and afters, I can see a lot of scalp. I want my hairline as thick as possible with dense packing. Erdogan has stunning examples of hairlines and thickness. What do you guys think? Please look at my pictures as well.

Senior Member mav23100gunther Posted May 19, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted May 19, 2015 Go with your gut, and don't let money be the deciding factor. If Erdogan's results seem better to you, then they probably are. Go with whoever you think will give you the best result, and it sounds like Erdogan is the one. I have a funny feeling you will drive yourself crazy second guessing your decision if you go with the other guy.
Senior Member mav23100gunther Posted May 19, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted May 19, 2015 I also don't think 55 vs 60cm will make that much of a difference to you - could be wrong on that.
Regular Member templeloss Posted May 19, 2015 Author Regular Member Share Posted May 19, 2015 Thanks, I'm just hoping that Erdogan gets back to me. Doganay replied right away and can even do the procedure in June. I will wait for Erdogan to reply before I decide. I do like that Doganay offers free PRP therapy and also free Propecia for a year (reported by some clients regarding the Propecia). Thanks! Senior Member HairyPotter79 Posted May 19, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted May 19, 2015 If your going near erdogan I think you go to erdogan, look at his results and I guess enough said,he's a bit overzealous with grafts at times imo,but again you see those results and I don't think you can have any doubt in the hands of that man, guys a beast
Senior Member 1978matt Posted May 19, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted May 19, 2015 Your hair is not bad enough to be rushing into a surgery. Get propecia from a local doctor now and save for another year. Going to a doctor you don't believe is any good is just crazy. 4,312 FUT grafts (7,676 hairs) with Ray Konior, MD - August 2013 1,145 FUE grafts (3,152 hairs) with Ray Konior, MD - August 2018 763 FUE grafts (2,094 hairs) with Ray Konior, MD - January 2020 Proscar 1.25mg every 3rd day
