Question:

1. Did the grafts fall off before they re-grew?, I know everyone is different but just was curious.

2. How did u sleep for first few days?, must have been difficult to make sure that you accidentally do not touch those transplanted grafts.

Do you suggest any good hotels nearby for the patients going for transplant?

Thanks.

1. yes the grafts did fell and regrew. May be not all. But it was good that they fell. After felling the looked more natural in terms of colour and thickness.

2. Yes...Was bit cautous not to touch them. Use to sleep with pillows under my head.

3. Not sure about hotels. I am in Gurgaon so did needed a hotel. There are some good guest house/hotel near her place. But again it all depends on the budget.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

I should say that this is pretty amazing growth at 3 months time!. The work looks top class. I think once u hit 9-12 months time it will look fabulous!.

Only one thing the frontal density could have been better, but it looks way natural even at 3 months I suppose at 9-12 months you will have no one who would be able to recognize u ever had HT.

Good luck bro, you found the right doctor and she did fabulous job, all the best, happy growing.

@SHASLEc0 what a transformation even with in first 3.5 months. Even as David and other people have said you are still in your initial stages of growth, this will no doubt be a great result to say the least my friend.

I was little worried for you initially at 2.5 months because I saw some pitting scars at the implant sites, but they are all gone now!!!, no scars left!, as you said probably the fact that hairs fell out and then regrew helped bring more naturalness to your growth,.

I am so happy for you my friend. You know i eagerly wait for your updates every month!!. I think I now know with whom I will go for HT when I make my decision to go for it!.

All the best, keep us updated about this fabulous journey of yours. And Dr.Bansal did a great quality job!, truly an artist. even hairline looks fabulous.

I was reviewing information on Dr.Pradeep Sethi, seems like Dr. Bansal and Sethi work on similar techniques and their work is closely related?, he also does DHT and BHT and seems to take on Norwood 6 and 7 with some excellent results!!!, Any idea?.

@SHASLEc0 Your results look amazing, congratulations!! I had a question for you, I am from Delhi and I was looking to go for Dr Tejinder Bhatti as so many good things have been said about him on this forum. But seeing your results it looks like that Dr Arika Bansal is a good and viable option too! While deciding on your doctor did you have Dr Bhatti as an option for you as well and if yes, why did you chose Dr Bansal over him and if No, why not? Please advice urgently as I am planning to get an HT done within a week or so.

Other members please feel free to share your thoughts too.

thor86 - please see page 1 of this thread, everything is explained by SHALEc0 in detail about why he chose Dr. Bansal in reply to harin question. All the best to you. There are multiple clinics in New Delhi and u can choose any quality one mentioned by him. Looking at some posts, Dr. Bhatti is a good option as well but I have heard hat he does not usually take NW6 and 7 specially with poor donor supply. Both Bansal and Bhatti do BHT though.

Hi All

I have just recently joined this forum as I am seriously considering FUE treatment, I need around 5500 to 6000 grafts and have been researching clinics in Delhi/NCR, there are so many to choose from and as I am from the UK all I have to go on is their website and any reviews i can find which i am not sure or can trust, so far I have looked at the following clinics

Medispa

Dermalifedelhi

cosmeticprabhash

satya hair clinic at hairtransplantindia.com

medlinks india

Aravali clinic india

Has anyone had or have any knowledge of the above or can recommend. Also what is the average price per graft in delhi, I have also looked in Punjab but it seems much more expensive.

Would appreciate any advice

Ravy

SHASLEc0 you are a poster boy for perfect hair transplant story. I am very impressed. Congratulations on such fabulous results, I was looking atsome other threads and looks like DHT has resulted in near 100% growth rate for you as claimed on their website. No wonder they are able to confidently take up NW6/7. Great job by a talented HT specialist.

I am so glad and happy for you. Now go out into the world with confidence and conquer the world! :)

Thanks Harin for your reply!

Finally, I got my HT done last Saturday. Thought of penning down my experience on this website.

After talking to many doctors, I thought of going ahead with Dr. Arika Bansal in her newly built Gurgaon clinic. She was one of the doctors who advised that my hair loss is diffused and can be cured using medicines except the hair line which has receded too much and there are no roots left. I went ahead with hair line make over. My overall experience was very good. The place was very clean, hygienic and well maintained. The HT started at around 11:00 AM in the morning and completed at around 8-8:30 in the evening. 2153 grafts were implanted using MPCID technique (FUE). The complete process was very easy going for me and the doctor and her staff was very polite and supportive. I was so relaxed and comfortable that I slept for approximately 3 hours during the HT :) . The doctor seemed very expert in extracting the grafts and making the holes. The staff placing the grafts also seemed very experienced. A team of 6 people was working on me at the same time and all the grafts were implanted within couple of minutes of extraction.

Today, I have completed 4 days and I have not experienced any swelling till yet. All the grafts are in place till now :). Initially, the donor area didn't look good and was reddish. On day 4, my donor area is almost healed with no pain. I think it should be completely normal in another 2-3 days. Don’t feel that I have undergone any surgery. Just waiting for results in the long run. Posting my day 4 pics and the hair line that I had agreed on the day of my first consultation with the doctor. I will get the pre-and post pics from the doctor when I visit her next and will also share them. Please let me know in case anybody needs more information.

Thanks everyone! :-)

@economicalindian ...for prices I think it would be good to get in touch with the clinic directly. Also, the prices might have changes since I got the HT done. Please ask me questions related to HT.

DR ARIKA BANSAL is certified from American Board of Hair Restoration Surgeryhttp://abhrs.com/.

Does she be Plastic surgent? Most of the analysts saying we need to choose plastic surgent.

Please advice

Rihana Gorge: Thanks for the reply.

Last week, I had a consultation with Bosley (Newport city) and doctors suggested going for 1300 grafts.

And then I sent over my pictures to Jaipur based specialist and Dehradun-based doctor.

Jaipur-based surgeon advising to go for around 8000 Hair follicles (Around 4000 grafts) by FUT (Strip) procedure.

The Dehradun-based doctor is suggesting to go for around 2500 to 3000 grafts by DHT method.

How to decide right No. of crafts?

Hi Everyone

I am from Delhi and planning for HT. My Grade is 6. I have been to Dr Pauls, Berkowits, Elegence Clinics, Provelous and Aravali.

Seems Provelous and Aravali are better, others are just following up with better offers.

Any further feedback about Dr UB Rao at Aravali or is there any one better i should visit.

How is Dr Anita Chauhan of Elegence.

Kindly suggest
