ui83
I can't believe this is happening to me. Is there options for my thinning? I have been using Rogaine for about a year. But now I see I have been using it incorrectly. I have to put it on a dry scalp. I have not been doing that. I purposely have been getting crew cuts so more rogaine would soak into my scalp. I am going to see a dermatologist to look into propecia. Are all dermatologists knowledgeable in hair loss? Should I look into a hair transplant or hair restoration? I do have small nodules in my thyroid. I wonder if that's contributing to the problem. I have been in denial of my thinning for 20 years. I am in my 50s. I want something done to correct this. Any success stories here? I am in the NY/NJ area. Thanks 343350
Regular Member Uk86 Posted March 21, 2015 Regular Member Share Posted March 21, 2015 Your picture doesn't look too bad for someone in their 50s. If your already using rogane I would jump straight on propecia soon as, it should at least slow the loss down while your researching transplants
Senior Member MusoInOz Posted March 22, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted March 22, 2015 Have you been applying the Minox wet or damp? It really doesn't matter, it actually absorbs better wet. I have been doing it this way for over 5 years with not issues this far.
