Rahal Hair Transplant
This patient was concerned about the sparseness of some of the areas in his beard. We transplanted 1902 grafts into the areas indicated in the Pre-Operative plan. Regular Member ultimate Posted April 9, 2010 Regular Member Share Posted April 9, 2010 A great result this is. But i cant believe some people dont mind getting a strip smily scar to thicken up beard! Ive hesitated to get a strip for my frontal region. Yes, what about extracting from beard to scalp? Is it possible?
Senior Member Forrest Gump Posted April 9, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted April 9, 2010 The cosmetic results are significant... but I don't understand people. For the life of me, I can never understand why someone would have a strip scar and undergo a surgery to get some hair in his beard. However, it's his money, life, and time... so he is entitled to what he wants to do with it.
Senior Member vincehair Posted April 9, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted April 9, 2010 Seriously seems like a waste of time and $ but looks good for what it is. Any post op pics at say 1-3 days and first few weeks? i bet that looked pretty haha. I hope this guy doesn't start to lose hair on his head cause then he will be kicking himself for puttin those sweet lil grafts on his face
colyma88
There is a forum on the Open Hair Loss Topics asking about any examples of facial hair restoration (beards, sideburns, ect) so I thought I'd bring this one back to the top.
The Bench
the idea of this is so backwards i love it- with time facial hair will fill in. with time scalp hair will fall out. gotta love the transplant for the overall appearance of a 5 o'clock shadow. convincing results! Regular Member NorwoodScale Posted April 23, 2010 Regular Member Share Posted April 23, 2010 why would anyone want a beard transplant? I wish I didn't couldn't grow a beard. I'd gladly give up ALL my beard hair to put into my scalp if I ever lost my hair.
Senior Member Sparky Posted April 23, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted April 23, 2010 yeah I'm thinking of putting beard hair into my scar on the next pass, not the other way round.
