Very nice improvement.

Dr Can you also show some postop pics. Distribution of grafts would also be good.

These photos were taken 1 day post operative , 2nd session, all thick caliber single hairs were placed behind the fine velus hair and all the groupings on thinning areas behind. Patient is also on Propecia1 mg 3-5x a week since after the 2nd session I just learned today. This info was not extracted on his last visit for photo documentation.

why wud u split that few grafts up over two sessions? and why not just perform FUE on all the grafts?

Yes , I agree with you..The first session had remarkable improvement but after 1 year with progressive Androgenic Alopecia .patient noticed thinning of adjacent and planted areas..he wanted the volume improvement, and by FUE I could select 2-3 hairs follicles for better result. Patient was 30 years old when first session was done.

I see that no grafts were placed in the mid scalp region, but still the final results show that the mid scalp region has thickened a little when compared to the baseline.

Is it just an illusion, or the patient was on meds (and this was probably a result of the meds)?

There was no illusion in this case, I stated that the grafts were placed on the fronto temporal areas only. On review there was remarkable improvement of the crown area also , that was why this patient was recalled to check if he was taking Propecia and he is ..so the crown area was solely the effect of the medication.

Thank you for the clarification. Do you know how long has he been on meds?

This is a very nice result and the improvement seen in six months with medical therapy is impressive as well.
