Senior Member zyzz Posted February 12, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted February 12, 2015 If someone who had a FUE procedure done in the past and decides to completely shave their head, can SMP be used to cover the visible donor area punch holes? Senior Member Sean Posted February 12, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted February 12, 2015 It has been used in scar repairs before so I don't see why not. There were some cases on some forums done with a smp tech from Italy. Not sure of how long it will last though. It would be a good idea if there are large dots or maybe even permanent shockloss. Senior Member hairthere Posted February 13, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted February 13, 2015 SMP can be used for FUE scarring, but you should always have a test done first. I have performed SMP on strip scars but not FUE yet, however, I did work on a client who had scars from having multiple moles removed and he was very pleased with the result. I also use a temporary brand of SMP pigments.
