Senior Member TommyLucchese Posted February 3, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted February 3, 2015 On Celebrity Big Brother. Noticeable patchynes at the crown, some fairly deep recession and what looks like to be a fairly old fashioned "pluggy" hair line look in front of the recession. Anyone noticed? Do you think he had a hair line transplant? 2,000 grafts FUT Dr. Feller, July 27th 2012. 23 years old at the time. Excellent result. Need crown sorted eventually but concealer works well for now. Propecia and minoxidil since 2010. Fine for 8 years - bad sides after switching to Aindeem in 2018. Switched to topical fin/minox combo from Minoxidil Max in October 2020, along with dermarolling 1x a week. Senior Member Garageland Posted February 3, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted February 3, 2015 I clocked this as what might be a transplant so understand what you are seeing. I am not sure but I think it is just his hairline receding and you are seeing the original hairline still there but agreed it does look a little suspect but perhaps we are all looking too hard these days for possible transplants --- Former patient and representative for Hasson & Wong. Senior Member MusoInOz Posted February 3, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted February 3, 2015 I'm certain there was an article floating around one of those pap site such as TMZ etc about this very thing regarding Perez. It wouldn't surprise me given the nature of the industry he "works" in. Regular Member Readytodoit Posted February 3, 2015 Regular Member Share Posted February 3, 2015 (edited) I actually spotted him with bottles/cans of Rogaine when he was in the bedroom unpacking after he wasn't evicted one night, so he's fighting the war as well. Senior Member BaldingBogger Posted February 3, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted February 3, 2015 I agree it's some pluggy work. A very unnatural balding pattern which always screams transplant
Senior Member Blake Bloxham Posted February 3, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted February 3, 2015 He's been thinning for a while. It accelerated when he dropped a large amount of weight a few years back. Not sure if he's undergone a transplant or not. He'd probably be a decent candidate if he's dedicated to preventive treatments at his age. Like a few others said, he's in the "industry" where youth matter as well! Senior Member 1978matt Posted February 3, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted February 3, 2015 Who is this z-lister? ..but yes, spend a minute on Google images and you can say with confidence he's had hairline work. It looks pretty aggressive and a bit on the thin side. It looks like on occasion he's actually shaved some hairs to create a 'V' shape hairline. Problem is the hairs are still noticeable. 4,312 FUT grafts (7,676 hairs) with Ray Konior, MD - August 2013 1,145 FUE grafts (3,152 hairs) with Ray Konior, MD - August 2018 763 FUE grafts (2,094 hairs) with Ray Konior, MD - January 2020 Proscar 1.25mg every 3rd day
Senior Member MusoInOz Posted February 4, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted February 4, 2015 The weight drop would have surely contributed somewhat to his situation, good call Blake! He was quite a bit larger. Apparently he underwent gastric band surgery but stated he lost it naturally. I know that with Lapband or similar procedures there is a huge shock to the system for the next few years hair loss or thinning good is one result.
