Regular Member schalke04 Posted December 23, 2008 Regular Member Share Posted December 23, 2008 Hi, Could anyone please answer this. I am 5 weeks post op with Dr. Epstein - NW3 - FUE 1600 grafts to fill up the top. Now I am getting some pimples where the grafts were transplanted. Is that normal? Bill - Seemiller
schalke04, Yes, this is normal. The pimples are a sign of activity beneath the scalp and new hairs typically start to pop through a few weeks later. Best wishes, Bill

Senior Member orangehair Posted December 25, 2008 Senior Member Share Posted December 25, 2008 hey guys....this is a common concern from patients...it is as Bill mentioned signs of activity, often hair curling beneath the skin trying to make its way out....these "pimples" generally resolve themselves so try to not manipulate them...you may want to use a warm compress to faciliate opening of the pores. The first few months can be awkward and trying but it is temporary.. hang in there VP Patient & Media Relations for The Hair Loss Doctors by Robert J.
