The reply which i received from her was in march-april this year and that too after repeatedly contacting admin and moderator on this forum.

My bad! Somehow I dint see this earlier. So, she did mail back! Albeit very late. Her staff still could have avoided all this by taking over client relationships.

What was her reply, if I may ask? Did she reason why you dint have a satisfactory result? The others must have gotten a reply too then. Can they share their replies too here? As a future patient, you would understand my curiosity.

No. I haven't had a surgery with her. But, I am going to soon. I found this particular thing when I did my due deligence on her. Trust me, you would forgive the communication gap if you know what she was going through. I don't want to elaborate or say what it is here. Because, it is not my place to. It is her private matter. It wouldn't be right for me to talk about it in a public forum. A little investigation of why a highly regarded surgeon would suddenly be aloof and indifferent would tell you things. That curiosity is how I found it.

The only reason I brought this up here is because, I came across a few threads of people who ve done their surgery with her and have complaints about it and about her disappearance, was almost on the same timeline. So, I did a little digging. When I found it, I thought I should clear her name and let you people know there is a good reason in her defence.

But all said and done, you have all the right to question the dead end emails. You are the consumer. You received a service. So, it is your right. Her staff should have made contact with you guys and have had a correspondence when she was not in a space to do so. Or, at least now that she s back, she could have cleared up the back logged emails and correspondences. I don't know why that has not happened. Again, it is not my place to speculate.

Thank you for showing great concern about her.

First of all i am Dr. myself and i had such a good conversation with her before the surgery and immediately after it.

First and foremost thing when i called her up on her whatsapp number after around 8months post , she replied she is in some emergency and wont be able to respond to my calls. but when i called up the clinic the same they , they answered me saying Dr.Radha is busy in surgery and they will give me a call back once she is back from OT. That was the last time i received a proper reply from the clinic.

There were a couple of incidents which has happened. when i called up the clinic and used my real name , they said dr.radha is not avaliable and they have no idea when she will be back from states. When i called them up with a different name and from different number they replied to me saying i can get a date after a couple of months. What do you think of it ?

I kept calling on her whatsapp number several times but there was no response.Further on I received so many conflicting answers from her clinic and it was disappointing.

I had my surgery in december 2014 and the last reply i received before she went off was 6 months post op. The next reply which i received from her was in march 2017 and that too after a lot of persistence from David-The moderator and the admins.

I lost trust in her , it was not only the financial aspect but also the respect i had for her which went down the drain. I just felt terrible and still do the same.

You are just saying things in her favour without revealing anything which had happened. If she cared so much about her patients she would replied us or updated the mods about the situation which was happening.

I had a bad experience with her and i underwent another HT from another dr. and moved on with my life.

The reply i received from her in march was sorry as i couldn’t reach to her . what can i do for you ?

How did the second surgery go? With whom was this with? Hope you are getting good results.

What do you think about Dr. Suneet Soni's dense packing? 70-75 follicles per square centimetres he claims. While the rest of the doctors are about 50 ish. Any healthy discussions on dense packing?

On an unrelated note:

I started a thread seeking advise on choosing one from the recommended surgeons in India. It attracted only 2 replies in two days. And one out of that looks like a clinic s stooge (for the lack of a more civil word). Disappointing! Not able to send PM s too. Otherwise I would have asked the moderators of their choice.

Requested for a PM privilege in a separate thread. And no reply to that too. LOL!

Though I have already chosen the doctor, it is always nice to see if my choice is other's choice too. It will help me to validate my decision. If anyone is following this conversation, please put in your recommendations.

That is all possible but it can give you a bigger scar than usual.

You mean more grafts and thus lengthier scar? Naturally! But I was thinking on the lines of graft survival. According to Dr. Shapiro, about 30-35, the survival rate is 90 percent. Anything about 50+ still gives a good survival rate but well below 90 percent. And beyond that is not advisable. Hence my question. If Dr. Soni could, why couldn't the others? Or am I missing something?
