Hello everyone

I have been diagnosed with warts on scalp in the past week .

They have been since past 6 months but didn't care much and thought them as pimples .couple of warts near crown .

Now I have been undergoing treatment for it .

I have my ht on Dec 17th .

Do I need to worry about warts and ht ?

Removing them could cause scabbing or damaged skin or something which would affect the hair transplant if it was in the recipient area

I'd ask your surgeon on whether you'd be better to remove the warts after, though I also can't imagine implanting hair into a wart would be great too.

Warts are either not in the recipient nor donor area .

I just wanted to know if warts do cause hair loss ? All I read and my skin doctor told me they are harmless and will go away after few months .

Wanted to be careful .

  • FUE Hair transplantation ensures natural look and does not left any visible scar which can give any feeling that one has gone through any hair transplant treatment.
  • Natural hairlines give you an attractive look.
  • Speed up recovery in a few days instead of months.

There is no clinical evidence to my knowledge that supports the notion that warts or moles, etc., have any negative impact on hair growth or be the source of any type of alopecia.

Now your surgeon no doubt would be careful in working around them as not to implant any grafts in them.

I have some moles in my scalp but never interfered with any of my grafts.

Sorry for you buddy, but I don't think that they are bad, you can easily delete them, because their is a remedy, when I had some on my scalp my doctor gave me a link with a lotion, that need to be applied on the area where is the wart and it is gonna disappear by itself, but you have to wait few days. You can see by yourself if you click here what is up with that remedy.
