Dr. Friedman performed a strip transplant on a 27 yr. old male with sparse areas in the hairline, temples and crown. Dr. Friedman artistically redesigned patient’s hair line working his way back to the crown. Dr. Friedman successfully transplanted 2,887 grafts. 1,117 single follicles were placed in hairline and temples. 1,770 group follicles were placed in frontal region and mid scalp anterior. Dr. Friedman used custom blades and strategically placed each follicular unit at the correct angle and direction creating the patient’s transplanted grafts to grow in a natural pattern. Photos show patient pre-op and 6 months post-op, which is when a patient may see up to 50% hair growth. Patient’ hair loss prevention is using low-level laser therapy.
