Wow, amazing result. Also, it seems you were an ideal candidate with mostly frontal recession and minimal crown loss. Must feel nice to have a full head of hair again, enjoy.

To be honest it was much better than I was expecting. I'm a real worrier and over analyse everything. Sometimes I'm shocked that I even went ahead with it and I know I must have driven my patient liaison crazy because without exaggeration I hounded them with questions for over a year. The whole thing was pretty much a breeze compared to what I thought it was going to be. Like you say, I was well taken care of and the standard of clinic totally exceeded my expectations, I think that's when I relaxed for the first time since booking. I suffer from psoriasis on and off so there was a lot of back and forth with the surgeons and my dermatologist here about whether I could have the ht or not but thankfully I got the green light. Been taking pics as I go but I will put some when I have been able to dye my hair again (only 1 week left til it's safe so I'm told). Here is one pre-op and one post-op for now.

Hey man, here are some new pics. Starting to come in a little now after the shedding! Have you got dreadlocks by now? :D

Hiya mate, looking good! Starting to get the peach fuzz hair through I see! Good that it seems to be growing over the area whhere you had the skin problem and now you're through the worst of it and can just watch the growth :)

No dreds yet mate :D although I have gone a bit longer with the style - pics attached! Don't know if you ever saw my 'How to build a wall' video on Youtube, I quite like the odd vid, so I made a series of question and answer vids about my HT. Turns out I'm better at the filming than the editing though which I'm trying to do at the moment! Anyway I say because you can see the hair a lot better in the vid, I'll post a link on here when I've figured out how to edit!

Great outcome mate - looking very good indeed. Surprisingly full head of hair for less than 2500 grafts. I had 4100 grafts done 4 weeks ago also in Turkey and if I get as good a result as you I will be thrilled. Thanks for posting - reassuring for an ugly duck right now.

Thanks matey - how you getting on?

That is phenomenal for just under 2500 grafts. Are you on any meds, or topicals?

Thanks so much mate :) Sorry for the lare reply, baby no 3 is due in a weeks time so I've been under it with work and baby prep!

Not on any meds. Before I had the op I considered it massively but in general I'm quite a holistic kind of guy and won't take aspirin if I don't have to. That's one of the reasons I went for surgical solution to be honest. I know that makes no sense to not like meds but then go under the knife...that's what my wife said! But I thought better a one time fix then permanent meds. I did try regain when it came out years ago when I first noticed thinning at the front, but it didn't do anything.

Jesus Christ sometimes this site is bloody annoying!! I've written this twice already but keep being frozen out!

ANYWHOOO.........I said a few weeks ago that I had filmed a video, here is the link:

In case the link doesnt work my Youtube name is 'thespecialist7', just type that in and my vids should come up.

I've said before that I've been honest to people about having the op as I never felt the need to hide it which is positive, but on the flip side I get asked so many questions when I tell guys or if theyre told from someone else. As you will see (if you do watch) on my channel I quite like doing the odd video where I can pass on information, like how to build a wall haha! So I thought why not do a video about my transplant! I've tried to cover the questions which I had before I went ahead, and the ones which I have been asked the most. I've also done a demo wash at the end so people can see how the hair looks wet, dry unstyled etc as I get asked that too.

If any of you do watch, apologies in advance for the work shirt and dodgy camera skills....thankfully the guy who edited it for me is much better at techy stuff then 2 builders!

Great patient video, probably the best I have seen. Looks like FUE was a good choice for you too, you got excellent yield. On a side note, as I've recently discovered, a hair dryer is a great piece of kit for adding volume to your hair.

Wow great video Karl! I almost missed it, you should make a new thread for it. I wish I had some of the confidence you have! I kept my ht a secret from everybody. I know I shouldn't be ashamed but more than anything I suppose I was (and still am to a degree) nervous that it won't look how I want and people will think it was a silly decision. All looking good at the moment though, had a few problems with my psoriasis returning a little which is more than annoying but in general I think I'm on track. I think your Q & A will be good for lots of people. Before I took the plunge I read lots of detailed blogs by patients who described the whole thing day by day, hour by hour which was invaluable, but I think even though yours is quite simple, I found it really engaging so good job!...p.s..you aren't so far away from those dreadlocks!!

Hi :) You should be over the moon, you had a great result. I'm new to the forum but its funny because I saw your video on youtube just a few days ago and then came across your page on here today.

I would be so pleased to have a result like yours, I'm thinking about going to the same clinic as you now.

great result man, one of the best I've seen on here, haven't seen any other work from this clinic.. who is the doctor that did your procedure?

Thanks bud :o couldn't be happier, honestly. I had two surgeons but the main one was Dr Deniz (not Karadeniz). There are some other guys on here, think if you search Health Travel International some of them come up.
