Smithson99
I’m looking for a UK surgeon to perform some front hairline work – possibly 1500 to 1750 grafts based on a previous examination. I’d prefer FUT as I don’t want to shave my head to zero and am looking for better rate of follicular transection density - obviously I want to consider the best UK surgeons to do this. I’ve seen Unshaven FUE but I’m a bit sceptical of the results. I’ve researched UK surgeons and found two lists one this forum and one on the IAHRS website, both listed below. How easy is it to get on these lists? I can find plenty of reviews for everyone except Edward Ball and Asim Shahmalak, can anyone shed any light on these two surgeons and their results. I’m aware of Mr Shahmalak’s celebrity clients but I tend not to take those too seriously and am looking for some objective reviews. Senior Member 1978matt Posted July 26, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted July 26, 2014 I'd only consider the HTN recommended Doctors. I've not seen enough of Edward Ball's work. He might be good. The limited work from Shahmalak really hasn't impressed me that much. There was a patient on here who didn't like his result and his Celeb work on Christian Jessen looks a bit weird from some angles. If you really must stay close to the UK then have a look at Belgium. 4,312 FUT grafts (7,676 hairs) with Ray Konior, MD - August 2013 1,145 FUE grafts (3,152 hairs) with Ray Konior, MD - August 2018 763 FUE grafts (2,094 hairs) with Ray Konior, MD - January 2020 Proscar 1.25mg every 3rd day
