Regular Member sunshineboy Posted January 19, 2014 Regular Member Share Posted January 19, 2014 Here are a couple pics (post op days 2 and 10). I had 600 grafts transplanted to an area behind my hairline mostly on the right side to create more density via fue. Too bad much of it will fall out in the next couple weeks. Is it true that you can predict the end result the first couple weeks before all the transplanted hairs fall out?
Senior Member Spanker Posted January 20, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted January 20, 2014 Not really, but the best guess is that there will be a slight boost of density in the treated area. That is a large area for 600 grafts so don't expect miracles. I am an online representative for Dr. Raymond Konior who is an elite member of the Coalition of Independent Hair Restoration Physicians. Senior Member TommyLucchese Posted January 20, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted January 20, 2014 I'd have thought around 1500 grafts would be "required" for that area. 600 wont make a huge difference but I'm sure it'll be an improvement. 2,000 grafts FUT Dr. Feller, July 27th 2012. 23 years old at the time. Excellent result. Need crown sorted eventually but concealer works well for now. Propecia and minoxidil since 2010. Fine for 8 years - bad sides after switching to Aindeem in 2018. Switched to topical fin/minox combo from Minoxidil Max in October 2020, along with dermarolling 1x a week.
