Quick question to anyone knowledgeable..how many grafts can fit per lateral slit? For example, if the doctor makes 3500 slits in your head can you for 5000+ grafts.... or if you make 3500 slits can you only place 3500 grafts?

One slit can hold two grafts. To clarify, if there are a lot of singles once all the grafts are harvested and dissected two singles can be placed into the same slit to add density where normally a two hair graft would be placed. I hope this makes sense.

Are you sure because I counted 4000 slits while he was doing it and he told me I have 5300 grafts..hmmm

that is interesting, jotronic

i wonder if the slit needs to be made larger to fit more than one graft

CFORCE1:

are you saying while numb and under some sort of sedation

you actually counted as the doctor made each of 4,000 slits?

WOW, you're good!

It depends on the size of the slits made for each incision. The bigger incisions can hold multiple grafts. Did you ask about the disparity in the #of incisons versus the # of grafts?
