I have read some stuff on the internet about breakouts of acne due to Biotin. Has anyone had any experience with this. What have been your experiences with Biotin so far. Furthermore, I think most probably just buy generic biotin from drug stores or large chain stores with pharmacy departments. I believe 1,000 mcg/day is the standard dose, but many patients take quite a bit more. You may want to shoot the physician an email and ask the dosage he/she recommends. Good luck!
