The operation took 2 days. 1390 Single Haired Grafts, 976 Double Haired Grafts 504 Tripple Haired Grafts 1525 Beard Grafts +-------- TOTAL 4395 GRAFTS For this operation, Choi Hair Transplanter / implanter Pen technique was used. With this technique, we use small pen needles which has 6-7-8mm diameters for planting grafts into recipient sites. After the surgery, patient's recovery is faster and the result is natural. To extract the grafts from the donor area, we use small blade called micro-motor, it has 0.7-0.8 mm diameter and does not harm donor hairs' roots. Thanks for your comments. By the way, I chatted with Mustafa (Hakan Rep.) and found out the AHD clinic from now and on are asking for a deposit equivalent to 20% of the total cost of surgery plus a plane ticket confirmation in order to have a successful booking. So far only two surgeons I know that they can incorporate beard hair with any doubt or hesitate. They are Dr. Doganay, Bisanga & Umar. Beard hair can provide up to 2000 grafts even and each follicle is as thick as two scalp follicles. On my way out from the hospital after my chest hair into scar surgery I have met a patient with full beard hair restoration into scalp. He looked so great and natural, couldn't believe it when Dr. Ayehan (Hakan assistant) told me that this patient restored his scalp with beard hair only without touching his scalp donor!
