Senior Member TommyLucchese Posted February 7, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted February 7, 2014 The magic will begin from here pal, patience! 2,000 grafts FUT Dr. Feller, July 27th 2012. 23 years old at the time. Excellent result. Need crown sorted eventually but concealer works well for now. Propecia and minoxidil since 2010. Fine for 8 years - bad sides after switching to Aindeem in 2018. Switched to topical fin/minox combo from Minoxidil Max in October 2020, along with dermarolling 1x a week. Senior Member losingmyhair123 Posted March 8, 2014 Author Senior Member Share Posted March 8, 2014 Well it has been four months since my transplant. I feel like my hair is growing slower than most, unfortunately. maybe I should have started minoxidil after my transplant. Will a three hair graft grow all three hairs at the same rate? I see a lot of single hairs growing, just wondering if there is more to come from some of those.

Hair follicles in multi-hair grafts won't necessarily sprout at the same time. Four months is still very early in the process. I know how hard it is to get through this early stage but try to be patient. I"m sure good things are on the horizon. What do yall think? should I be expecting more at this point? I guess its too early to tell if I will need another transplant for density. I received 2200 grafts

Senior Member losingmyhair123 Posted June 29, 2014 Author Senior Member Share Posted June 29, 2014 things are looking better. a lot of the hair are still very thin and curly. straight out of the shower, not combed, I look like a walking pubic hair.lol too much info;) my barber knows that I had a transplant and he said, "where the hell did they take the hair from off your body?" I took some pics to show this. hopefully it straightens out soon and thickens up.
