Regular Member asiandude Posted November 2, 2013 Regular Member Share Posted November 2, 2013 Had 1200 grafts done for hairline a year ago but was wondering how many grafts do I have left if I choose to do FUE again sometime in the future? Senior Member Mask Posted November 3, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted November 3, 2013 To your scalp hair you have also your body hair; hairs of other parts of the body (chest, beard....). Hope that helps.
Senior Member JohnnyDrama Posted November 3, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted November 3, 2013 The average person can have between 4000-5000 scalp FUE grafts available. I emphasize the term 'average person'. There are a lot of variables at play to determine this. The density of your donor is possibly the most important factor. The total scalp FUE available can also vary from clinic to clinic. Some clinics prefer to take 25-30% of total donor region over a lifetime as a rule, whereas others are happier to take a higher percentage. So one clinic could tell you 4000 FUE over your lifetime and another clinic could tell you 5000+. I would certainly ask your own HT doctor though. They should have your stats recorded and should be able to give a rough enough figure as to what you might expect. This was actually one of the first questions I asked all 4 HT docs I met through my initial in-person consultation. 2,200 FUE + PRP with Dr Bisanga - BHR Clinic, 22-23 August 2013 - http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/171950-my-fue-2-200-prp-dr-bisanga-bhr-clinic.html Current Regimen: - Rogaine 5% Foam 2x daily - Jasons Restorative Biotin Shampoo 2x daily / Nizoral 2% 2x weekly - Nettle Root 500mg, MSM 1500mg, Biotin 5mg, Multi Vit, Omega
