Regular Member cart2 Posted October 25, 2013 Regular Member Share Posted October 25, 2013 looks very thin at the hairline?
Senior Member Patriot34 Posted October 25, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted October 25, 2013 Might want to post some operation photos so we can see where the slits were placed. How tight they were together etc. I agree that the hairline looks a bit thin, but it could just be the photos. I am curious to see what the total design for this HT was and what the expectations of the patient were. How far back did you plant? I just can't tell much as far as overall plan based on those photos. Nice breakdown of the grafts. Very thorough.
Senior Member Shadow of the EMpire State Posted October 25, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted October 25, 2013 Respectfully, this is an obvious transplant. Not a good result, in my opinion.
Senior Member irishsailor Posted October 26, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted October 26, 2013 Not the best yield for sure. I'd be pretty disappointed with that result. Just my opinion. Senior Member Mickey85 Posted October 26, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted October 26, 2013 Not impressed with the yield or hairline design. Sorry. Photos don't make transplants look worse; they make them look better---in some cases, much better.

High end clinics should be posting results captured via high-definition video like Hasson and Wong. There simply is NO excuse that clinics only give us pictures which can be shot in favorable lighting, at good angles, etc. Those factors can still be apparent in video but much less so. Lorenzo's videos show full combing and parting of the hair giving us a much more detailed viewing of the hairline, density and coverage. I find it strange that most of the world class clinics still only use photo documentation... The only 2 threads you will ever need: Revamped Advantages/Disadvantages of FUE. Myths dispelled. Senior Member Noodles123 Posted November 1, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted November 1, 2013 (edited) This is an underwhelming result. For the amount of grafts you would have expected a more dramatic effect. Even with dark lighting in the after photos, the yield is less than expected. Senior Member imnothere Posted November 1, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted November 1, 2013 I find it very strange that a doc would post this result online. He must consider it a success to be sharing it, which makes it even more worrying! What are the bad ones like?!
Senior Member Noodles123 Posted November 2, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted November 2, 2013 The rest of the portfolio shows the same issues.
