Regular Member ny2013 Posted October 11, 2013 Regular Member Share Posted October 11, 2013 (edited) Can a graft fall out at the 8 day point, as part of the initial shedding of the grafts? Haven't done anything crazy except relaxing on vacation but I was looking at the grafts and looks like possibly one fell out If one did fall out, would it bleed or show redness where it fell out? doesn't show much of either Edited October 11, 2013 by ny2013

Senior Member hairthere Posted October 11, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted October 11, 2013 Yes, the hairs could start shedding by day 8. The grafts should be well rooted by now so I wouldn't worry. If you did lose a graft you would see the bulb on the end and it would be bloody. Senior Member Blake Bloxham Posted October 11, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted October 11, 2013 Ny, Grafts normally anchor between day 7 and 10. Because of this, shedding a a portion of a newly anchored follicle at day 8 is definitely possible. I didn't see any blood on my scalp or any hair so I was curious if one just shedded as it should during this process thanks again!
