Senior Member orangehair Posted September 30, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted September 30, 2013 Extensive hair loss patterns are not ideal in terms of surgical hair restoration so the design and yield are critical to creating a meaningful result. This patient has about 5000 grafts as a donor supply so this initial treatment of 2816 follicular units was focused on the frontal region to achieve the most impact. There was also some subtle framing added to the temples. The grafts consisted of 802 singles, 1827 doubles, and 187 threes - a total of 5017 hairs. As the procedure was only 6.5 months ago, the result should continue to show nice cosmetic change over the next 6+ months. VP Patient & Media Relations for The Hair Loss Doctors by Robert J. Senior Member orangehair Posted September 30, 2013 Author Senior Member Share Posted September 30, 2013 yes at about the 10 month mark or so that will be assessed but a second step would likely extend into the top/crown region VP Patient & Media Relations for The Hair Loss Doctors by Robert J. abcd0000
This looks great - I especially like the hairline but also the honest way in which you also showed the crown area, to see the realistic results. I think for that number of grafts, the results are stunning.

Senior Member Spanker Posted October 3, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted October 3, 2013 That is a high hairline, and that is what he needed. This is an important lesson for the 22 year old guys wanting hairline work. If you look at the about of grafts that were just spent on his dropped sides also, you can see that this man got hairline work at say, 7cm, he would be in a bad way right now. Instead, he has a nice natural head and good things are coming his way. Just something to keep in mind. This was a home run in my eyes in terms of plan, execution, and even the timing in the guys life. Good on him and good on T and D. Considering where he started I think he will be blown away with his final results.
