Carlos K. Wesley, M.D. (NYC): Hairline Advancement 40-year-old Male

Recommended Posts

  • Senior Member

This 40-year-old received 2460 grafts to address his receding hairline. His session with Dr. Carlos K. Wesley (NYC) included a number of DFUs (double-follicular units) tucked away behind his new hairline to provide more coverage and an improved facial framing.

He returned with a renewed self confidence about 9 and a half months later to display his new hairstyle!

Excellent case Dr. Wesley. You are really earning a stripes in FUE, I think when mentioning North American top FUE doctors, your name should be mentioned more often. I would like to see more of your patients posting on HTN. Great job.

Is this FUE or strip case?

I think this was strip. I don't know why I thought it was FUE. Still a killer result.

Thanks, everyone, for your comments.

This case was an FUT session. I have attached an image of the patient's resultant donor scar. It's helpful to see a comparison between parting the hair where there is no scar versus parting it along the donor scar.

I'll be sure to have our office post more FUE cases as well.

Spanker, most of our patients come from referrals from MDs and hairstylists rather than from online. This may be a reason for why you don't see as many online postings from my patients as they often aren't aware of these sites. I'll be sure to "nudge" a few as the year goes on, however, to have them share their experiences.
