Senior Member Spanker Posted March 31, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted March 31, 2014 Matt. you look like a rock star. I think that you had said that you felt like you have fine hair, but it really looks course to me for some reason. Maybe the high def photos are deceiving in that way. I am really jealous of your hairline, and that is something I didn't think I would ever say. That is a crazy result. Not sure I said it was fine, possibly that it was very straight/rigid hair. Senior Member Rootz Posted April 5, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted April 5, 2014 Startling how much hair can be lost in just three years. In 1999 it looked like you were around HW2, then in 2012 you had progressed to like NW4. Now you hair looks better than back in 1999, you must be thrilled

Senior Member GBU Posted April 8, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted April 8, 2014 Hello Matt . I have had people ask me all kinds of questions about my health, wait and my age , but I have not had anyone ask about my hair . When I visited my Mom she said I look great but didn't question my hair . I never admit to anything and have had great fun with it . Definitely getting looks, though . My family haven't said a thing. Shocking really apart from a comment or two about having a much better haircut. I doubt they know anything about HTs beyond seeing a picture of Wayne Rooney and the belief they cost GBP30,000! (as reported in the UK press). Most friends have been told and are astonished by the result. At work I believe more people know than are letting on. I guess over time they will just forget I ever looked differently. GBU, I'm definitely getting looks too! Senior Member Since21 Posted April 21, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted April 21, 2014 Nice cut. The result is pretty mind boggling. Agreed. Especially when you consider that it was a complete reconstruction of the frontal third and hairline. 3,425 FUT grafts with Dr Raymond Konior - Nov 2013 1,600 FUE grafts with Dr Raymond Konior - Dec 2018
Senior Member Spanker Posted April 21, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted April 21, 2014 I normally advise any young person (like Matt) that had his level of baldness that he may want a bump after the first surgery as many do. That is a large area he had covered (I would say about frontal half), and even with 4300 grafts, I figured he would want to add density because a total hairline reconstruction takes a lot of grafts. I used over 2K with some existing hair. This was before his hair grew out and he told me he was pretty sure he wouldn't need it and that he was going to be happy. Well, he was right and I was wrong. Senior Member hdude46 Posted April 21, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted April 21, 2014 Unbelievable Matt. I can tell the transplanted hair is still thickening and maturing, and blending into the rest of your hair more naturally. Hard to believe you still have 4-6 more months of growth. Happy for you man.
