Just some pics incase anyone wants to see. No transplant done on crown. Also been on dutasteride/biotin/nizoral for about 2 months. I believe month 2 is highest point of shed for dutasteride. Looking forward to months 6-8. My hair is trimmed short all around for now (2-2.75 guard) and i will most likely keep this look after new hair is out but might experiment with longer hair. Will keep you updated.

Picked up some blood test results today. Iron and thyroid levels normal. Vit D defficient (not too low though). Was given 50,000 IU pills to take once a week. Highly doubt it will help my hair but i wouldnt mind if it helped in other areas such as skin etc :)

Not too bad i guess. Today is approximately 3 months 1 week post op. Keeping my hair short. Left picture pre-op (just to refresh your memory) and right picture taken today. Noticable change as the transplanted area is much darker now. I'd say i'm around half the density that i would like. Results could have been faster had i remained on rogain as suggested by Dr. Demirsoy but i chose to stop 4 weeks into treatment due to frequent eczema/dry skin on face. Sticking to 1 dutasteride pill a day only. Let me know what you guys think but keep in mind still early days :o

imnothere, i think shedding stopped at around 6-8 weeks post op so yeah whatever i have now is either newly grown and/or pre-existing.

Getting better every week. Some of the pictures are a little dark, just wanted to show you what the front looks like under natural lighting as opposed to direct light which makes it look aweful :o. Hair is naturally spiked upwards, same way it has always been. New hair angles are very similar to old ones so overall looks natural. Just hoping for more density!

hairline looks good, i would cut it at a 1.5/2 grade like u have it in your 2 week post op pic. think it will look alot better. if it tickens up like it should u ll have a good result. although it will likely still be thin behind the hairline since the doc covered a large area for 3033 grafts. but still enoiugh to make a nice cosmetic difference assuming good yield

3k grafts seems like a lot for FUE. Did the doctor remove 1500 grafts from one portion of the back of your head first and the the other ~1500 grafts on the other half side? Or was the removal at random locations of the back of the head throughout the 2 days?

The reason why I ask is because I already had 1500 grafts done via FUE a year ago and was hoping to do 1500 more via FUE sometime in the future.

Asiandude yes, on day 1 approximately 1500 grafts were taken from the left side of donor. Day 2 was similar but done on the right side. The majority of grafts came from safe zone but some were removed from the sides above ears which are not guaranteed to live long-term as i had some diffuse loss in that area. The doctor only did this as to not overharvest/damage my back donor. Check the pictures below.

Stinger, yes i am aware that 3000 grafts cannot cover an area so large but it should hopefully help shape my face better and like you said will look good with a short hair cut. Also hoping that dutasteride works for me but from what i've read it usually kicks in around 7-9 months so a long way to go.

get the sides shorter man :D. This thick donor at this stage is not the best style. sometimes i see these pictures and i want to come over to the guys house with a wahl clipper and fix everything :D...you had FUE use that to your advantage!!!

Number47, in my last update pictures 1 and 4 the hair is almost twice as long. Pictures 2 and 3 were taken shortly after a haircut on the same day so yeah... i just like it this way for the time being but might experiment with shorter hair once the recepient area fills in a little more.

Dingdong, looking forward to seeing your pictures!
