Senior Member dingdong12 Posted June 28, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted June 28, 2013 Hi guys . I am booked for surgery 12 th july with dr demisroy of turkey i am opting for fue and am in bit of dilema. The dr recommends approx 2000 grafts needed however i dont want to shave . He says he can harvest 1500 without shaving if hair lobg enough . I want to get as many grafts as can so might end up shaving back and sides. My only problem is old strip scar from previous surgery .im a bit weary of this being very obvious. Does hair fibres do a good job of covering this up ? Also anyones experience with non shaven fue would be great to hear from
Regular Member Shabs88 Posted June 28, 2013 Regular Member Share Posted June 28, 2013 I dont think fibers would help cover it too much especially if your hair is shaven. I would go for something like Couvre or DermMatch instead which sticks to your scalp. Good luck!

Senior Member JohnnyDrama Posted June 28, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted June 28, 2013 Something like Dermmatch would be much better suited than fibres. Fibres pretty much need hair to cling on to anyway. SMP might be another alternative. A few active users on here have gotten their scars SMP'd with very good results. 2,200 FUE + PRP with Dr Bisanga - BHR Clinic, 22-23 August 2013 - http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/171950-my-fue-2-200-prp-dr-bisanga-bhr-clinic.html Current Regimen: - Rogaine 5% Foam 2x daily - Jasons Restorative Biotin Shampoo 2x daily / Nizoral 2% 2x weekly - Nettle Root 500mg, MSM 1500mg, Biotin 5mg, Multi Vit, Omega
