Senior Member StaggerLee123 Posted February 7, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted February 7, 2013 Very natural looking but I would have hoped for a bit more bang for my buck from almost 4000 grafts.
Regular Member Thomas2012 Posted February 8, 2013 Regular Member Share Posted February 8, 2013 I agree with StaggerLee, but this is a prime example of physicians posting a result with no information with the exception of age and grafts. Im sure Dr Harris your a perfectly capable doctor, but when something like this is posted, almost 4k grafts against another procedure from another doctor with a similar amount of grafts that shows much more density, there is usually more to the story. How many hairs total? What was the hair diameter? If this forum is to educate potential people thinking of getting a transplant, there is no consistency of reporting results. Apologize for being negative, but an honest opinion.
Senior Member James A. Harris, MD, FACS Posted February 11, 2013 Author Senior Member Share Posted February 11, 2013 Thank you for your comments. Thomas2012 is correct that there was an issue with fine caliber hair and low hairs/graft but my staff also inadvertantly left out the crown photos. It was in fact 3886 grafts to the entire bald/thinning areas. Dr. Harris is Recommended on the Hair Transplant Network
Senior Member Cant decide Posted February 11, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted February 11, 2013 That went from a so so result to borderline "WOW" result. How many grafts went into that crown? Although, I would like to see pics of the crown without flash. My Hairloss Web Site - Procedure #1: 5229 Grafts with Dr. Rahal Oct, 2010 Procedure #2: 2642 Grafts with Dr. Rahal Aug, 2013 7871 Grafts http://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/blog/home-page.asp?WebID=2452
