fuefirsttime Posted August 25, 2012 Posted August 25, 2012 Hello. I had fue yesterday and I noticed that a few of the follicles on the end of my hair line were missing this morning. I cannot find the hairs but looking closely, I think they are gone. This would not be a huge deal, but on the edge it may make the line look off. I am seeing my doctor on Monday- will he be able to put new hairs in these few holes? Would it be take from the donor area again or would it be able to be taken from a high density area of the recipient area ( which would be much easier for me). I am talking 3 hairs most likely ...
Senior Member BadBeat Posted August 25, 2012 Senior Member Posted August 25, 2012 Typically, if there isn't any blood then the grafts are still in place. I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.
Regular Member Dr. Glenn Charles Posted August 28, 2012 Regular Member Posted August 28, 2012 Sometimes grafts are placed a little deeper or sink into the recipeint site the first night post op and are haredr to see the next day. If a graft fell out while sleeping would would have likely seen blood on pillow or on the scalp in area where graft was placed.
