Senior Member Buzz2 Posted August 21, 2012 Senior Member Posted August 21, 2012 Hi All I'm back to Dr Saifi's in Poland in 6 weeks time to address the crown area. Its not terribly bad but I'm hoping for 1400 grafts or so by FUE, which should then be my hair restoration finished for the time being. My question is, can the surgeons take their pick on the follicles ? I.e. just, pick all the 2,3s and 4's . Why bother with the 1's when its for the crown ?? Surely this achievable ?? Any advise would be helpful Thanks HT No1 : Nobel clinic, Gatwick 500 grafts - Terrible result, left with bumpy skin HT No2 : Marwan Saifi 1680 grafts. Great result HT No3 - Marwan Saifi 1250 grafts. Another good result. HT No4 - Hakan Doganay 2134 grafts. Result TBA Total 5134 grafts.
Senior Member Mickey85 Posted August 21, 2012 Senior Member Posted August 21, 2012 I think Doctors use the 1's for the crown swirl, so 1's are quite vital there. I'm sure the Doctor can target certain grafts if need be(ie singles for the hairline). The only 2 threads you will ever need: Revamped Advantages/Disadvantages of FUE. Myths dispelled. Senior Member mattj Posted August 21, 2012 Senior Member Posted August 21, 2012 With FUE your doctor will have the ability to choose the grafts most suitable for the job at hand. You're right that more 2's and 3's will be the ideal choice for crown restoration. I am a patient and representative of Dr Rahal.
