Senior Member aim4hair Posted May 25, 2012 Senior Member Posted May 25, 2012 Hello, As the title says, im planning to do a FUE this year and thinking to only take rogain post the surgery? Is that considered a bad idea ? Is taking propecia a must to prevent native hairlose or would rogain do the job? Thanks,
Senior Member Thehairupthere Posted May 25, 2012 Senior Member Posted May 25, 2012 It's never a must to use propecia or rogaine after a ht but both are very helpful in preventing further hair loss and will provide you with a better overall result. Propecia tends to produce better results but rogaine is still a very good alternative and worth using both or at least one of them in the long run. I am a consultant for Dr. True and Dr. Dorin. These opinions are my own. Dr. Robert True and Dr. Robert Dorin are members of the Coalition of Independent Hair Restoration Physicians

While also looking at the patients age, type of hair loss, family history of hair loss, and where the transplants are being placed.
