Regular Member Dr. William Lindsey Posted May 22, 2012 Regular Member Posted May 22, 2012 This fellow stopped by the other day for a followup prior to leaving our area for a while. He received 3800 grafts to the frontal 1/3 of his scalp at the end of February and has shed his grafts. Like many guys, he was thinking that the "fuzz" that he is starting to grow in the recipient area is his new hair...but rather its some of his sparse pre-existing hairs (which will likely go with time due to his MPB). I think it will be the end of the summer before he really sees any progress. His scar looks good and I expect to see him around the New Year for 10 month pictures. Also, like a fair number of our guys who come in with some type of combover...he's cut that and looks significantly better. Just wait til it grows in! Dr. Lindsey McLean VA William H.
