DanielPeter Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 Hello all, I'm 21 years old and have been going bald since my early teens (yes, that early). I currently take 1mg of finasteride daily. In a couple of weeks time I want to start using some other products which will hopefully help regrow my hair. I've already decided on applying Kirkland signature minoxidil 5% foam twice daily, and washing with nizoral twice weekly but I can't decide (even after doing lots of research) which shampoo to wash with the other 5 days of the week (I wash my hair every morning as when I wake up it's greasy). _______ The three I've looked at so far are : Revita : I've read on here and on amazon that the formula seems to have changed lately and the product is thick and not working as well as it used to. Also it's quite expensive and the most difficult to get hold of. Alpecin : It contains caffeine which is apparently not proven to do anything to hair. There's also lots of different varieties so it wont be easy to pick one. Johnson's baby shampoo : Maybe a strange option, but this has been around for a LONG time, and it's a gentle shampoo which might be a good idea to use as it wont wash away all the goodness from my hair which my current normal shampoo is probably doing. Anyone ever tried this ? _______ Can you please recommend which one I should go for given my situation. Thanks ! Daniel Yorkshire, UK
