Regular Member Perfectpeace247 Posted May 10, 2012 Regular Member Posted May 10, 2012 This is my experience with Dr. Lindsey who just completed my third HT. My two prior HT's were done by a doctor who is not part of this network in 2005 and 2006 and what I was left with was two wide scars and very sparse coverage. So Dr. Lindsey and his staff combined my two scars into one HOPEFULLY good scar and 1394 grafts, 816 singles and 578 doubles. 750 single slits on the front...and they were 0.88mm wide and then the rest were doubles at about 1.2mm wide. He did a good job packing the hairline which was my main concern. We had hoped for more grafts to continue to fill in the frontal area but dealing with my previous two scars limited the grafts:(. Live and learn. I will look at my options in 6 months to try to fill in the rest. All and all I am pleased with the overall result Dr. Lindsey and his staff provided me with. Thanks to Dr. Lindsey and his staff, all who answered my posts, Spex and Bucksred. I will continue to post more pics on this thread as the earth keeps spinning and add them to my hair loss website. Regular Member Perfectpeace247 Posted May 12, 2012 Author Regular Member Posted May 12, 2012 Thanks all. Wanted to show the strip so the scar issue and how it affects graft counts could be seen. I'll keep that photo of where it came from to myself! View My Hair Loss Website http://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/blog/home-page.asp?WebID=2442
Regular Member Dr. William Lindsey Posted May 14, 2012 Regular Member Posted May 14, 2012 Thanks for posting your visit to my place. Make sure those sutures come out today...and then start the vitamin E oil you emailed me about, twice daily for 4-6 weeks. Please email if you have problems and send some pics at a month so I can see your scar. Thanks Dr. Lindsey McLean VA William H.
