Bill - Seemiller Posted April 10, 2012 Posted April 10, 2012 Can hair loss suffering men and women undergo hair transplant surgery without having to commit to taking non-surgical hair loss drugs for the rest of their lives? Recently, I published an article with my thoughts on the subject. View "Are Non-Surgical Hair Loss Treatments Required for Hair Transplant Surgery" for my input. What are your thoughts?
Senior Member RCWest Posted April 10, 2012 Senior Member Posted April 10, 2012 While certainly hair transplantation can be done without the lifetime use of Finasteride, Dutasteride, or Minoxidil, it's a huge advantage to try and save some of the native hair from being lost. Also if you are transplanting into an area with native hair, Finasteride can help that native hair from being lost due to shock loss. Finasteride 1.25 mg. daily Avodart 0.5 mg. daily Spironolactone 50 mg twice daily 5 mg. oral Minoxidil twice daily Biotin 1000 mcg daily Multi Vitamin daily Damn, with all the stuff you put in your hair are you like a negative NW1?
