Anyone heard of a company called Longevita in UK LONDON

Mick50 and/or Longevita,

Mick, I appreciate you sharing your experience and giving us a little bit more insight into Longevita and who they are.

That said, if either of you could explain a little bit more about how their services work, that would be appreciated. It sounds like they are not a hair transplant clinic but more of a scheduling service is that correct? But how do they schedule with various physicians?  What kind of working relationship does a physician at a clinic have  what kind of working relationship does a physician at a clinic have with with Longevita?   Do doctors pay Longevita  to direct patients to them?   What is business and financial relationship between the two and how does  it all fit together?

 I also notice that @FrankKeenan  has not replied yet to my posts even though he was tagged. I will give him a couple days to respond, but if not, I will end up removing his posts and suspending his posting privileges.

best wishes,

Bill

Longevita is subsidised by the Turkish Government for promoting Turkey as a medical tourism destination. They have a portfolio of independent qualified surgeons who operate at private hospitals certified by the Ministry of Health.

Longevita provides consultation and aftercare services either over the phone or face-to-face at their London UK office. Longevita also makes doctor appointments, hospital and hotel bookings, arranges private airport transfers and translation/interpretation/hosting/assistance services during the patient's stay in Turkey.

Did anyone else here get hair transplant surgery through longevita  ?

A bit late now for me but I made the terrible mistake of having a hair transplant through longevita and they completely butchered my head.

worst mistake of my life, the damage caused by their so called surgeons is irreparable and I’m left disfigured with complications.

Has as anyone else had an experience with them?

This post is completely genuine, my only motive is to see if anyone else has been through a similar experience and to help save anyone possible from getting into the position I am now faced with.

Hi frank, I’m also has had my procedure with Longiveta with a very disappointed result. So, what you recommend to do now

I too had an fue procedure in Jan 2018 with Longevita. The 'surgeon' is not even a Dr even though they advertise her as a surgeon (illegal i believe even in Turkey). As for the techs the difference in ability is evident, one side has grown much better although its still not great. Granted i should have done more research but i just went off some before and after pics which looked pretty good and assumed i would get similar results. The website leads you to believe the 'surgeons' are way more skilled than they are.

I look horrendous now and they have damaged my donor. Ive seen people get an extra 1000 grafts removed by a good clinic and not have as much depletion as i have. I can only echoe the above advice, STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY They offered a free revision but anyone would be insane to let them touch their head twice. @Longevita the least you can do is refund all of the people you have butchered so they can look to get fixed by a surgeon who knows what they are doing (providing your 'top of class surgeons' haven't destroyed their donor beyond reoair. @Bill - Managing Publisher i will verify privately if you request to prove im genuine.

Longevita are a dangerous company, young guys are already emotionally vulnerable from hair loss, then companies like this make it ten times worse.

@Hairsonality we have a dedicated aftercare team at Longevita. Please get in touch with your care specialist, share your pictures and ask them to liaise with the surgeon for advice. Feel free to post your pictures on here as well so that the community sees your case and we can collectively comment on the progress. We are confident in our medical team and the work they do. If any result is unsuccessful for any reason, we don't leave you alone as many other clinics in Turkey do, we take action. Your comments related to the legitimacy of our practices are simply incorrect. Longevita operates out of hospitals and clinics certified by the Ministry of Health in Turkey. Hair transplant is a very specific area of medicine under the Turkish law which we comply with fully. Please note that our activities are actually subsidised by the Turkish Government for promoting Turkey as a medical tourism destination. If you'd like to escalate your concerns, you may follow our complaints procedure on our website. We strongly advise you to cooperate with us as we are willing to help you. As you'd appreciate, as the leading hair transplant provider for the UK patients, we do not respond well to threats, unfair and incorrect allegations or defamatory comments.

@Longevita

I am not making a threat of any kind. Im merely stating that the work carried out on myself is terrible. I have been offered a repair surgery as previously stated. I could not risk your team carrying out the work again as you have wasted a high number of my donor grafts, put 3 and 4 hair grafts in the very front of my hairline, poor yield, ridiculous graft angles at the temples to name a few. I dont really want to share my pictures on here currently as im embarrassed by my appearance.

Once ive had a repair done elsewhere i will happily share with the community. I have only commented on this thread in the hope someone else doesn't make my mistake and be stuck like i am now.

@Hairsonality You are not stuck, you were offered help, but you are not willing to take it. Also the fact that you are not willing to share any pictures make us think that you may not be a genuine patient as this forum is full of internet trolls or fake accounts created by competitors. We are confident in our work and we show this by asking you once again to share your pictures with the community. Otherwise your comments would stay very subjective open to questioning of the reality they represent.

@Longevita

As stated previously, once i have had the repair i will happily post the pictures. My confidence is shot because of how unnatural and horrible it looks. The last thing i want to do is parade it on the internet for the world to see. But i will happily send you my reciept as proof that i am an ex patient. Anyone who is thinking about using longevita can ask to see my pics if it helps them make up their mind.

@Longevita

our forum is filled with genuine and real patients. While yes, trolls come on here every so often and we have to weed them out, to say that our forum is filled with them is disingenuous. If you have a particular issue with a poster and it’s not related to this thread please send them a private message and discuss this in private.

Moreover,  you first said you offered the person help, but they refused making it seem like you knew who the person was, but then you say they may not be genuine and are a troll because they didn’t post pictures. The initial response doesn’t make sense. That said, please take this discussion off this thread and in private thank you.

Best wishes,

Melvin

@Melvin-Moderator

Apologies for the discussion taking place on this thread. I won't continue it on here.

My initial reason was purely so there is some information for anyone trying to make a decision on using this company. Maybe one day i will start my own thread on the topic once i feel confident to do so.

Unfortunately every hair transplant forum gets trolls and this site is no exception they are normally quite transparent and easy to spot ,new profile  then straight with negative comments about a particular surgeon etc ,The only thing I have to say on this matter when a poster comes on here and gives negative comments about a recommended surgeon the general cry is without pics it didn't happen ,if someone is making claims good or bad about a clinic/Doc their has to be some back up otherwise these sites can become a free for all for anyone who chooses to drag a clinic/Doc down for whatever reason .  Hairsonality just show the pics no one needs to see your face.

For the record I went with Longevita[ Dr Resat ..no longer with Longevita ] and considering I was a NW6, I have had one of the best results I have seen on this site from a recommended Doc or otherwise and still going strong 5 years later .

Can I recommend longevita ,no  I cannot, because as I have stated numerous times on here before Longevita are not a clinic they are middlemen who have different clinics on their books ,so if someone is thinking about a hair transplant with them ,just get info on that particular Doc /clinic ,don't just take longevita 's word .

For the record I paid  1750 pounds for 4200 FUE grafts .

@Melvin-Moderator we agree with @Mick50 that @Hairsonality can post his pictures without disclosing his eyes/face. We are trying to be as transparent as possible to show the community the progress of the hair transplant so that contributors can comment on it. We are confident in the work we do and are willing to put things right if we made a mistake. Yes we offered help, as we do to any patient who is not particularly happy with their outcome. The fact that the person does not want to post any pictures without taking any risk of disclosing his identity made us think that the person may actually NOT be genuine.

On the other hand, @Mick50 no we are NOT a middleman. We have a portfolio of hand picked surgeons working exclusively for us. We just operate out of established hospitals certified by the Ministry of Health. We do not own these hospitals, but this does not make us a middleman. If you go to Harley Street in Central London today and visit any hair transplant clinic or plastic surgery clinic, you'd find the same notion - most of the surgeons provide the patients with a few hospital options where the procedures would take place and the patients choose based on their budget or any other preference such as location etc. At Longevita, we do the same but we book the facility on the patient's behalf as part of the package unlike clinics in the UK where the patient is responsible for making their own bookings.

I'm not sure whether a clinic owns the premises they operate out of is relevant  in this discussion . The salient point is you have various clinics/Docs who are on your books for various lengths of time and for whatever reason choose to no longer do business with you or you with them, and move onto an actual clinic or as with my Doctor Dr Resat advertise for patients through his own website which incidentally is from the same premises [not a hospital]  as when he was with longevita.

 I am not here to attack or defend Longevita but I have seen quite a few posts on here where someone asks about Longevita as if they were asking about Hasson and Wong for example ,my point is this is crazy, Longevita have various Docs/clinics on their books ,whoever goes with Longevita needs to ask for examples of work form the particular clinic they are considering ,so I stand by my point you are essentially brokers making a commission from anyone who goes with a clinic on your books be that for a hair transplant or liposuction etc.

@Longevita this discussion is not relevant to the thread. The individual already said he’d be willing to provide proof privately. He hasn’t replied since. I suggest you reach out to him privately if you wish to continue this discussion.
