Anyone heard of a company called Longevita in UK LONDON

Hi everyone i wanted to know if anyone heard of a company called Longevita? or has used this company to have hair transplant treatment.

They are based in Uk London and is global medical tourism facilitator operating as an ordinary partnership with a registered trademark in the United Kingdom. They mention on their website that they are approved by the Turkish Ministry of Health and hold quality and hygiene certificates from international bodies. Longevita works with surgeons who are members of the Turkish Medical Association as well as societies of respective specialist fields both in Turkey and abroad.

So far i have approached this company and had video consultation with the doctor in turkey. They seem very genuine and professional, They have given me a quote for 4000 grafts and two days accommodation and airport transfers for ?2500 pounds.

i will have done research on this company or doctor but nothing bad seems to come up about them, to me i dont know if they are good at their job so i would need Everyone's say on this matter and what they think about this company and what the best choice or option for me..

Ideally i would like to visit Turkey for my hair transplant and looking for the best doctor in Turkey to get my hair transplant done, or if anyone could direct me to a well known doctor or have had hair transplant in Turkey then i would love to hear from you or your recommendation.

I will provide link for company Longevita below so everyone can have a look and see the doctors profile.

(promotional link removed)

Looking forward to hearing everyone views, Thanks

Kind Regards

I don't know pal- they might not be butchers & might be good but he deals in different types of surgery, so not a speciality.

2500 pounds for 4k grafts?? I would've thought it would be four times as much.

Why only Turkey? Do yourself a favour and visit the clinics in Belgium for consultations or go to Canada.

Don't play with fire. A transplant is not the sort of operation you can make a mistake with.

@Dutch am still looking around for the best deal and offer, but thanks anyway for your advice.

But i have heard that there are good Doctors in Turkey and also really bad doctors as well, not need to find out the good doctors and need help with that.

Hi

I am in a similar boat as you. I have made an enquiry with longevita who seemed, like you said, very professional. However, there isnt much information to go on regarding the surgeon or the company.

I am considering having my transplant done in the summer. Any information regarding this company or the surgeon would be highly appreciated. The rates and charges are extremely good, the best i have had.

Il keep you posted if i find out anything new

Hey Kajmal will you be having your transplant done with Longevita? Please do let me know how it goes or if you find someone else to do your transplant. One thing i have to say that they have decent price for hair transplant, cause in Turkey there are load of hair transplant places and i think they all compete with each other, but in our case we need to find the best doctor for the hair transplant. Please do keep me informed and also if you find out anything about Longevita and its doctor then please do let me know. Thanks

Hey Rumon.

In turkey recently had fue operation with 3000 grafts by a Dr Ali Karahan MD at the Memorial Hospital in Istanbul.cost 1500 uk pounds. No idea how good this doctor is as i did not do my homework.suicide i know. I only started looking into these forums after op as i had lots time on my hands. I would not advise this course of action having read all over the internet you should spend a lot time researching....!having said that & after looking around the internet and picking up some of the lingo i think i might have been lucky as the op seemed to go well... ( although i guess i wont know until 6 months onwards mark)The hospital was extremely clean, professional, attentive, caring & there was a team of doctors and nurses working with dr karajan which reassured me that it all seemed bona fide.the reason i came here is that a businessman friend of mine who is turkish also went to same hospital as he phoned around differing places and spoke with his friends and this hospital appears to be highly recommended within turkey and held in high regard...(promotional link removed) is on dr karahans business card and when i searched on internet afterwards i did see him on video doing a presentation on ht... No idea what he says as i dont speak turk but obvious from. VIdeo what is going on... Dunno if this helps u any but thought for what its worth id throw my tuppence worth in the ring!! :)... Also this hospital sends driver to airport to collect you, take you to hotel and then to hospital,.,.. Back to your hotel and return to airport... All in 1500 pounds.. At the hospital there were 2 german guys there... I quizzed 1 of them who is of turkish origin about how he came to be there and he said he phoned around...the german guy also said this type of op in germany starts at 7000 euros and goes. Orth from that... So at 2000 euros for him was excellent price unbeatable in turkey....I guess it is kinda down to luck unless u thoroughly research your intended hospital and speak with their previous patients... With the limited knowledge i have of ht i cannot really be a good refer ce poi t on the subject... I ask myself is it the type of thing where u get what u pay for OR is it like getting jack vettriano to paint a masterpiece then getting michaelangelo & van gogh along for a comparison and u find that the layman in the street could not tell the difference between all 3 but an afficiado of the art could.... Dont know : the answer is probably somewhere in between... Im rambling... Anyways.....maybe this response is of some use to you or maybe not... and sorry for poor grammer here i am typing this on a tiny iphone keyboard lol

My advice if coming here... Try and book hotel near to hospital and get hospital to wash your donor and transplant area therefor stay around a good 3 or 4 days after op and visit hospital for wash.

Take it easy

Ciao

And good luck with your ht journey!!

Hey Ataturk1 Thanks for your post and sharing your Treatment, i hope everything goes well with you and hope your hair transplant is successful, but ?1500 is way to cheap for 3000 grafts as they have quoted me 2500 for 4000 grafts including 2 day accommodation and airport transfer back and to the airport. The doctor you been to how much experience does he have with doing hair transplant? and do you have any info about him so i could do bit of research on him. Thanks

Rumon

You are probably right...after looking round i thought it was ultra cheap...

But my turkish friend organised it all for me... He didnt go thru a company or snything...I think the hospital quoted 2000 euros originally but my turkish friend kept trying to get them lower by bartering lol... All these turks the same... The tel number on business card is +902163683933 ... At hospital the staffs english is ropey but the 2 doctors were very good...

I think the memorial hospital chain is a big chain of private hospitals in turkey and is viewed as being very expensive by the turks who live in turkey... When u compare to uk though it seems cheap... No idea what the ave wage here is in turkey but must be lot lower than uk otherwise it would appear that charging high amounts aint reasonable... Dunno....

W w w dot kozasacekimi dot com is on business card ( i have spelled that out as it dont seem to appear correct when i post)

Aah also i did ask him if he was good and he smiled and said he has 100s of patients...

There was a video of him when i typed his name so u should be able to find easy

The hospital is unbelievably clean and spotless...

That certainly made me feel re sssured as cleanliness is a must

And in relation to price i assume when u pay the really high prices for hair transplant then you will be paying for the training which the doctor has undertaken etc etc and his many credentials...

Price is 1 factor and i wouldnt necessarily choose the cheapest... I just trusted my turkish friend so went with his recomendation...lol not advisable to do this...

Ataturk what part of uk you from? is it possible to meet up and discuss some matters about hair transplant with you and if possible see you hair transplant in real life as i know your genuine guy and not talking rubbish as a company called Hair Transplant Clinic UK told me they have so many clients from Uk that did hair transplant and they will make me meet most of the clients in real life and talk to them but when the time came to meeting them the consultant just gave me a mobile number of a so called client that lived so far away from me, and he only wanted me to call him, so that was bit dodgy as they say one thing to take you on board but when i wanted to check their clients they have treated, they just was bullshitting to me i think.

Im in glasgow mate but have to be honest and say i didnt tell anyone i was heading to turkey for ht...wouldnt really fancy meeting with ppl from internet and showing it off lol...

I think if you do your due dilligence like you are clearly doing then you will make the right decision... Just do your homework...Its up to you to satisfy yourself... Even take a flight to turkey, check it out for your own peace of mind ... Watch an op taking place& ask questions... Patients are more than willing to talk... The german guys were talking away to me... .. We flew klm edinburgh to amsterdam then istanbul... It was only a few hundred quid

No probs il speak to my turkish buddy and get back to you with exact address of memorial hospital...Dr karahan drew on my head with purple pen then it was his team who operate with him hovering all day i think... Not sure if he actually does it but everyone seemed to know exactly what was going on and they run like a well oiled machine from what i could ascertain... But as i said before i aint got anything to compare them to... The 2 doctors ( ie karahan and the lady doctor) whos pictures are on that website i gave u are there for the duration of your op and they spk good english....There was also a plastic surgeon guy present and i recall about 3 or 4 different nurses hovering around me... I dont feel anything as they also giv u something that makes u a little drowsy as well as local anaesthetic ,but your awake the entire time... Anyway ill get u address tomorrow

Cheers

They sent me away in a headband with a black bowler hat to wear if i go out... They also supply u with creams to wash and shampoo with..called seba med shampoo and bepanthol body lotion...they also supply u with 2 sets pills to take called sultamat 375mg and aprolfort 10 which has 550mg naproksen sodyum ....
