Lsdr Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 Had an FUE 3 weeks ago. Recipent area in front. Donor area in back. Thick hair in the back, scar barely visible. Did not cut hair before surgery so hair from back can practically cover recipient area but it kind of looks silly. Seeking some advice. Shall I cut the rest of my hair to the length of the recipient area currently? My scar will not show but I have never had my hair shaved. Or do I let the front grow out for a while and try keep covering it somehow? Thank you.
Senior Member Dutch Posted February 24, 2012 Senior Member Posted February 24, 2012 Scar? You had FUE or strip? Photos? Try giving it a trim if you're not sure about shaving it down. http://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/blog/home-page.asp?WebID=2329
Lsdr Posted February 24, 2012 Author Posted February 24, 2012 Thank you. Sorry I meant to say FUT, scar. But hardly visible, really. Will need to dig up some photos. What I am not sure about is that if I trim the hair to the length of the hair in the recipient area, will they look the same in terms of density, thickness, color etc? I am fairly dark skinned so don't have any redness in recipient area.
