Payment method for Dr.Feriduni?

Hi all:) I just recieved my quote from Dr.Feridunis office and the emails I've been getting are from a gentleman called "Marraffa Cristian". He asks for a 1000 euro deposit to an account number and they dont take credit cards (huh?).

 

Is this a scam or is it real because I could be just depositing money into a random acount thats nothing to do with Dr.Feriduni. Has anyone paid this way before?

 

I'm sure this is all legit but taking cash only doesnt sound like the professional clinic that I assume Dr.Feriduni runs. Has anyone ever paid him like this?

I had surgery with Dr. Feriduni and I paid in the same way. It is not scam The beneficiary of the account is Dr. Feriduni himself. This deposit is required to confirm surgery date. I don't know about the payment methods of other clinics. May be others can enlighten us.

 

Marraffa Cristian works in the clinic as Client service assistant manager. He contacted me regarding payments and also helped me to book hotel and arrange transportation. If you have confusion you can call them and ask directly.

Give them a call and have a word, I had mine with Hasson & Wong, I sent $500 deposit, sent further funds via bank wire transfer a couple of weeks before surgery then paid the rest in cash on the day of the surgery in the afternoon at 4pm.That was a big lump. It just showed how relaxed and professional they were about the whole thing when they could've rightly asked for the money on the morning of the operation.

Dr Feriduni might do it differently, some surgeons ask for all the money 2 weeks before the operation for example, so each clinic may do it differently.

Yeah its true, I just paid the EURO 1000 deposit last month with the same method. However its disappointing that they dont accept credit card even if you want to pay the rest of the amount later. They just accept CASH or Bank transfer. I dont mind if they dont accept the credit card in international deposit but atleast they should accept for the rest of the amount as its really hard to carry this cash along to pay on surgery date or wire this much money before travelling. I wish they would do something about it.

Don't worry, Christian genuinely works at the Feriduni clinic. I had the pleasure of meeting him two weeks ago - he works on the reception. The deposit of 1,000 EUR per surgery day is also absolutely normal.

 

When I go back there I may offer to build Dr Feriduni an online credit card facility (my business is in software development)
