Hardly Any Shedding Yet!

I'am 3 weeks post op today and really haven't noticed any shedding of the new grafts. Should I consider this a good sign, or is it to early to tell. I have been taking propecia for now for 5 + years, could this have reduced shedding of the new grafts?

I started shedding from week 2 & didn't stop for many weeks but only shedded maybe half of the grafts eventually, propecia may have had a hand in this. I suppose it is a good indication. I was an early grower with significant change by month 4.

Did the grafts that didn't shed continue to grow at a normal rate?

jleb, I'm willing to bet that you come back very soon to tell us that you've finally started shedding. It could even be tomorrow. Sometimes the grafts hold on longer in some people. Of course I could be wrong.

im 20 days post op and dont seem to have shed at all really either

Let's hope we're among the lucky few, even though the ods are against us.

my hair was growing like a champion until about 1 month. Then I shed all of it and got quite bad shock loss. I am at 2 months now and I can feel and see the shockloss filling in.

 

I think that the timing of these things are different for everyone - what seems to be largely consistent with the good doctors is a happy patient at the end.
