Regular Member Dr. Vito Quatela Posted January 31, 2012 Regular Member Posted January 31, 2012 This 46-year-old male underwent two hair restoration sessions using the stick and place method which resulted in a total of 4,448 grafts over the course of one year. For the first session, the team concentrated on thickening the frontal hairline and central tuft by placing 912 single hair grafts along the hairline, followed by 867 two hair grafts, and 241 three hair grafts in the central forelock to create more density. The patient returned for a second session to fill in the crown area. During this session, 1,013 ones, 1026 twos and 389 threes were used to fill the crown. Due to the large number of single hair grafts, the ones were combined to provide the greatest amount of coverage and density. The patient is very happy with his results.
