I'm in the US and can travel to any destination. Someone told me that Thailand could be the best option. Can someone please guide me with Dr's name, location, prices and your experience. Regular Member baldguy1973 Posted January 24, 2012 Regular Member Posted January 24, 2012 The pain is nothing. It's waiting for your transplanted hair to grow that's the hard part.
Senior Member orlhair1 Posted January 24, 2012 Senior Member Posted January 24, 2012 Pain is not too bad. Definitely uncomfortable for a few days, but can easily be controlled with the meds you will be given. Sleeping is tough for a few days. You are in great hands with Dr. Rahal. Good luck. Senior Member NEWHAIRPLEASE Posted January 25, 2012 Senior Member Posted January 25, 2012 Geee I just left Ottawa today. I had my transplant last Thursday. As far as pain, if it's a long procedure the local may start to wear off but just tell one of the techs and Dr Rahal will come in and numb you up again. Dr Rahal is really doing great work. He personally drove me to the Foxbar after my procedure. It was about 6-7 o'clock at night. How many doctors do that?? Also I've recently posted some pictures from my surgery and also the foxbar stay. Do a search and you should find them. Good luck. Newhairplease!!
