Regular Member adam1987uk Posted January 21, 2012 Regular Member Posted January 21, 2012 I currently use Nizoral twice a week and put toppik in my hair everyday. I currently wash my hair every night to wash the toppik out using Head and Shoulders. I have heard on the internet that Head and Shoulders is bad for your hair when used daily. Can anyone recommend a good shampoo that won't harm my hair and cause further thinning?
Senior Member Shampoo Posted January 22, 2012 Senior Member Posted January 22, 2012 I just bought some of this shampoo about two weeks ago and it seems like a really high quality daily use shampoo. A bit pricey, but I like it thus far. https://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/product/11/Revita-Shampoo/ Dr. Dow Stough - 1000 Grafts - 1996 Dr. Jerry Wong - 4352 Grafts - August 2012 Dr. Jerry Wong - 2708 Grafts - May 2016 Remember a hair transplant turns back the clock, but it doesn't stop the clock.
Regular Member LadyNeedsHair Posted January 22, 2012 Regular Member Posted January 22, 2012 http://www.folligen.com I use the Folligen Shampoo and Conditioner when I am not using Nizoral. (It's what my Dr. sends you home with after your HT!) You use very little so the bottle should last a long time. My Hair Loss Website - Hair Transplant with Dr. Cooley
Regular Member adam1987uk Posted November 11, 2012 Author Regular Member Posted November 11, 2012 I would personally stick with it and see how you go. Only use 1% a max of twice per week. If you feel it is doing more damage than good after a month then stop.
Regular Member restins Posted December 17, 2012 Regular Member Posted December 17, 2012 Is there any difference between mild shampoos and herbal shampoos?
Senior Member aim4hair Posted December 17, 2012 Senior Member Posted December 17, 2012 I use "free & clear shampoo" which is sulfate free and formulated without dyes, lanolin, fragrance, masking fragrance, protein, parabens, formaldehyde. Anybody else tried it ?
