Regular Member bald28 Posted January 11, 2012 Regular Member Posted January 11, 2012 Hi All, I'm day 6 post OP and will be able to shampoo normally from day 10. Which day to day shampoo do you guys use and why? Before my HT I used my GF's shampoo (whatever it was at the time) but need to get something that could help with my thinning crown that wasn't addressed by HT as well as helping with both donor area and grafted area. Finally, I'd be trying Nizoral once or twice a week but I'm unsure how long after HT I can start on this. Thanks in advance and have a great day, Bald28
Senior Member NEWHAIRPLEASE Posted January 11, 2012 Senior Member Posted January 11, 2012 Use baby shampoo for 1 month.. after that start with your Nizoral a couple of times a week.. Newhairplease!! Senior Member Ukresponder Posted January 11, 2012 Senior Member Posted January 11, 2012 I used aloe vera shampoo, found it was very gentle and if there is any anecdotal properties from the aloe might as well take it for sake of it! After the staples were out back to whatever you fancy each to their own it wont make much difference :)2250 Strip Dr Feller :)1900 Strip Dr Feller ----------------------------------- 2 Great HT's & Experiences -----------------------------------

Senior Member Dutch Posted January 13, 2012 Senior Member Posted January 13, 2012 I used the cliniderm shampoo for about 6-7 weeks post surgery until it ran out, I only managed to find it online from Canada for about $20-25, but postage was something like $20 per bottle, so I just about J&J's baby shampoo & have continued to use it. http://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/blog/home-page.asp?WebID=2329
