Senior Member mattj Posted January 6, 2012 Senior Member Posted January 6, 2012 This patient came to Dr Rahal to have his hairline restored. He wished to conserve his donor supply so it was decided to keep the density to a medium level. His hair is on the finer side. 2734 Grafts via strip method. Graft breakdown: 373 singles 1547 doubles 735 triples 79 quads I am a patient and representative of Dr Rahal. Senior Member mattj Posted January 16, 2012 Author Senior Member Posted January 16, 2012 To answer the questions: the patient is photographed at 11 months after surgery. The area covered was 51cm/2, which gives an average density of 53.6 grafts per cm/2. I am a patient and representative of Dr Rahal. Senior Member RCWest Posted January 19, 2012 Senior Member Posted January 19, 2012 "so it was decided to keep the density to a medium level." If that's medium density, then this guy has it made. Beautiful work as always. Finasteride 1.25 mg. daily Avodart 0.5 mg. daily Spironolactone 50 mg twice daily 5 mg. oral Minoxidil twice daily Biotin 1000 mcg daily Multi Vitamin daily Damn, with all the stuff you put in your hair are you like a negative NW1?
Senior Member RecedingTide Posted January 20, 2012 Senior Member Posted January 20, 2012 Incredible. So natural. I guess having hair on the fine side is actually an advantage for the feather zone right at the leading edge of the hairline. 2500 grafts used at 53.6FU/cm2 and plenty in the bank for the future. This is how it's done. Congrats to the patient.
