Patient came in as a Ludwig 2 evolving 3. Patient had tried topicals to stop hair loss and continued to lose additional hair. We put patient on laser therapy that she can do home based to stop further loss and Rogaine to use as a vaso dilator. Dr. Friedman transplanted 2,200 grafts, 300 single hairs in the anterior hairline bilaterally and the anterior temples. 1,900 follicular units were placed bilaterally parietal and bilateral posterior occipital. Dr. Friedman used the trichopytic closure method to ensure that there was no visible scar. Patient is thrilled with results so far and is looking forward to her 2nd procedure to fill in density. Patient has noticed that laser therapy has thickened up existing hair and the shedding has significantly slowed down.
