rogaine and propecia both can cause sexual side effect temporary and even permanent

rogaine and propecia is best to control hair loss. but rogaine also got sexual side effect and propecia also got sexual side effect and some arguving their side effect didn't stop after they stop using the medicine too. its really scary before try this medicine.. read the forum post below:

I'm speaking here from my personal experience. I've never had any sexual side effects from using either! I know people do have them, however, I think the majority don't. It's really a personal choice on what you decide to do.

I also say take this into consideration. Many men from their 30s to 50s. Many of those with or without meds find that their sex lives change a bit during that time as well.

 

I wonder how many would have issues anyway.

While this issue always leads to interesting discussion on the forums, I wanted to present a few objective pieces of information:

 

First, according to Merck, the company responsible for Propecia (finasteride), the FDA approval trial demonstrated a <3% rate of sexual dysfunction and a complete reversal after stopping the medication.

 

Second, in a recent study, Japanese researchers found a 0.7% rate of sexual dysfunction, which is far lower than the original FDA approved statistic: Japanese Propecia Study

 

I truthfully feel for any individual suffering long-term sexual dysfunction, but I simply wanted to present a few piece of objective information to keep the discussion balanced.
