Senior Member RCWest Posted December 26, 2011 Senior Member Posted December 26, 2011 I believe Corvettester takes 10,000 mcg.! Finasteride 1.25 mg. daily Avodart 0.5 mg. daily Spironolactone 50 mg twice daily 5 mg. oral Minoxidil twice daily Biotin 1000 mcg daily Multi Vitamin daily Damn, with all the stuff you put in your hair are you like a negative NW1?
Senior Member MrJobi Posted December 26, 2011 Senior Member Posted December 26, 2011 Good stuff! One thing that made a huge difference in my hair texture (yes, and thickness) was to condition daily. I use Fructis 3 minute olive, shea and avocado conditioner and it seriously works wonders. My hair is a bit coarse and frizzy and this smooths it out. BIG fan of Kerastase Capital Force products but very expensive. I'll have to try the thickening products mentioned Thanks Jobi JOBI 1417 FUT - Dr. True 1476 FUT - Dr. True 2124 FUT - Dr. True 604 FUE - Dr. True My views are based on my personal experiences, research and objective observations. I am not a doctor. Total - 5621 FU's uncut!
Senior Member Cant decide Posted December 28, 2011 Author Senior Member Posted December 28, 2011 I wanted to amend this thread with something I discovered recently. The fish oil I have been taking seems to have made my scalp/hair extremely oily. I have never had oily hair and believe me when I tell you, it has been VERY oily after about 6 weeks on fish oil. I stopped the fish oil now for about a week and my hair/scalp is just starting to recover. I am not saying everyone will react this way to it but I sure did. The rest of the above protocol is working beutifully for me. aosummers12 Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Yes fish oil does seem to have that side effect. It is usually taken by people who have psoriasis to help them with the dryness of their skin.

Senior Member Swimmy Posted January 5, 2012 Senior Member Posted January 5, 2012 What type of fish oil are you taking? Have you tried Krill fish? Its 6x more absorbable than regular fish oil. Not to mention studies have shown that alot of these companies are selling rancid fish oil

duca Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 hello is better Aveda hair potion or Samy fat hair thickening cream x ticker dense fuller hair? what kind of Kerastase Capital Force Shampoo do you use ??? oral msm ticker your hair? thanks in advice!
Senior Member Cant decide Posted February 1, 2012 Author Senior Member Posted February 1, 2012 I think the samy thickening cream is better than Aveda. Kerastase capital force densify is what I use. For a much cheaper option, pantene flat to volume works awesome as well. MSM does not thicken the hair but makes it healthier as well as makes it grow faster.
