Hard to believe it has been six months, but here are my six month update photos. I am very happy with where I am at this point.

I have also included some of my pre and post op photos from SMG for comparison. You can see my complete photo documentation by clicking on my link at the bottom of this post.

Let me know your thoughts and feel free to ask any questions.

Thanks Sean and Cap......I appreciate the nice comments. It has been a fun ride so far......it is amazing how anxious you get before the surgery, then the surgery is easier than expected and after a little period of the hair not looking so great, boom....the growth starts and your off to the races. I am following both of your cases......when you go to great docs like Rahal, Shapiro and several others on this forum, a HT makes a world of difference for you.

Looking great there my friend. It's a nice mature hairline for you and the short cut really works. Are you going back to SMG in the future for a check up and another round of pics?

Thanks Aaron.....I appreciate it. Really enjoying the results. I do plan to go back to SMG for a follow up. I will probably get up that way for business in the next few months and will schedule something then. If not, I plan to make a special trip up there for the follow up. I have to admit it, "hair greed" is already setting in, so I want to get some ideas when I head up that way. :)

Looking really good. How is the scar? I’m really interested in how it turned out with the help of Acell.

Thanks Keithh.....the scar is virtually undetectable......very difficult for me to even find it. I have my hair on the back and sides pretty short when I get a hair cut and no sign of it. Even with a comb it is hard for me to find it. I don't know whether or not that is attributable to the

Acell or not.

Looks great!! I cant believe how fast u healed. Your 5 weeks post-op pics are very nice! Seems like SMG patients heal faster for some reason.

Thanks! I feel very fortunate that everything healed up so well.......I had a lot of anxiety about the scar going in, but it all worked out fine. I was prepared to keep my hair longer, but it turned out not to be necessary.

Orlhair, I am very happy for you. Even though scars can be minimized sometimes they can be still detected in some people. But I am amazed. In your case, it worked out really well that you can't even detect the scar at all. I can't even see it in the pics. I am glad it healed so well for you and it must be exciting. Not many patients get such a great scar result so this is truly well worth it. Again the growth is great and I can't wait for your next month update.

Let's hope when you go back to SMG for a follow up in the months ahead, hair greed doesn't kick in. Rest assured your hairline and everything looks great, we don't want you to come back with a hairline 2 fingers above the eyebrows now cuz you think you need more hair. lol Everything is looking great man, at this point, it doesnt even seem you have hairloss or ever had it. It's really comin out good.

Thanks for following my progress.

Thanks man...... LOL.....yeah it would look a little funny with the 2 finger hairline:). My guess is that they will discourage me from doing anything else. If I did anything at all it would just be to fill in the corners a little bit, but that may not make sense. I am really happy with the way the hairline has turned out.

It's been interesting following your progress, especially since ACell wound sheet for the donor scar healing and ACell fine particles for the recipient area were used.

It is tough to know how much of your result is attributable to ACell. Majority of our donor scars are hard to find anyway but yours might be even better. Be nice to see it in person.

Here are my 7 month update photos.....slightly different style. Continue to see some thickening, but only subtle change over the past month. I have seen greater change in the crown over the last month which makes sense given the slower growth in that area. I will be going to SMG for a check up in a couple of weeks and will post photos taken there as well.
