Regular Member AnthonySC Posted December 11, 2011 Regular Member Posted December 11, 2011 He suggests this in the video: http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/163089-follicular-unit-extraction-fue-verses-fut-megasessions-dr-wong.html Anyone know anything about this?
JhonPaul Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 Well i just know this that the procedures of FUE Follicular Unit Extraction are widely used for transplantation of hair all around the world, due to the number of advantages they are able to provide over other hair transplantation methods and procedures.
Regular Member Radius Posted December 11, 2011 Regular Member Posted December 11, 2011 Dr. Wong isn't practicing FUE yet? He's got some catching up to do then, it seems.
Senior Member Jotronic Posted December 11, 2011 Senior Member Posted December 11, 2011 Hey guys, Dr. Wong and Dr. Hasson have both worked with FUE off and on over the years. In fact, Dr. Wong used FUE to remove some horrible mini- micro grafts in a young man's hairline just a few weeks ago. FUE is not a procedure we offer to just anyone and is usually used in cases such as the one I just mentioned. In other words, FUE is not on our menu because for most patients we do not perform it. Btw, that video was shot years ago. The Truth is in The Results Dr. Victor Hasson and Dr. Jerry Wong are members of the Coalition of Independent Hair Restoration Physicians
Regular Member AnthonySC Posted December 11, 2011 Author Regular Member Posted December 11, 2011 Sorry was not sure if the video was old or not because the post dates appear to be recent. So FUE is used for repair cases: recycling/ moving grafts? What about for minimal loss? Are there any plans in the near future to conduct larger sessions? It sounds like Dr. Wong was eluding to this.
Senior Member Jotronic Posted December 11, 2011 Senior Member Posted December 11, 2011 So FUE is used for repair cases: recycling/ moving grafts? What about for minimal loss? Sometimes. It is used on a case by case basis. Many times there are better alternatives than FUE for repair work Are there any plans in the near future to conduct larger sessions? It sounds like Dr. Wong was eluding to this. He was eluding to the efforts he was going to undertake to see what the growth rates were. Today, years later the growth rates still vary more so than strip. Some patients have better growth than others but this is not due to inexperience. It is simply due to the inherent flaw in the technique. The Truth is in The Results Dr. Victor Hasson and Dr. Jerry Wong are members of the Coalition of Independent Hair Restoration Physicians
